This is my first developed windows screensaver:

It shows one of following webservices:

They’re really adictive!

Download twitter/flickr vision windows screensaver

How to install the screensaver:

  1. check if .NET Framework v1.1 (or newer) is installed (if not you can download here)
  2. Copy the 3 files of the screensaver into system folder (C:\Windows\System32)

To enable the screensaver go to Screen properties->Screensaver and click on visionScreenSaver.

You can configure it , choosing the service to show or enabling Random mode

It’s not a joke. Are you sure you have .NET Framework installed?

All I get is the ad (Finance something) and the notice that it is loading, but it just stays that way.
And yes, i have installed .NET framework.

This screensaver uses IExplorer engine, so if you can enter to twittervision.com with IE the screensaver should be able to connect also.

Wich windows version have you installed on your computer?

Please, check if Microsoft Internet Explorer is able to load twittervision.com

If not reinstall your computer ;)

I am also unable to get this to work. I guess it’s been a while since it’s been released so it could be any number of issues: IE7 rather than IE6? .NET version 2 rather version 1? (I have both installed). Or perhaps the address of flickrvision has changed since last year?

I get a data available message box that pops up when viewing 3d flickrvision. Also, any chance you can get dual monitor support?

Hi,
I installed the screensaver and the preview works fine. Then I wanted see how it works and waited infornt of the laptop. The screensaver comes up, loads some pictures and after about 20 seconds, it is gone. Why?
